25 Degrees Burger & Liquor Bar Location
25 Degrees Burger & Liquor Bar is a bar-cum-restaurant located on the ground floor of Hotel G, with its entrance facing Fortune Centre on Bencoolen Street. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk from either Bencoolen MRT station or Rochor MRT station to the restaurant.
The restaurant is one of the official breakfast restaurants for Hotel G’s guests in the mornings, is popular with the expat office workers during lunch in the afternoons, and is a go-to chillout venue among locals and foreigners alike in the evenings.
25 Degrees Singapore is an offshoot of 25 Degrees at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel – a popular American burger joint in the famous Hollywood neighbourhood in Los Angeles, California, United States. Its signature menu items are burgers, rancher’s eggs, griddles, milkshakes, and draft beers. Their flagship store receives a pretty a high rating on TripAdvisor.

25 Degrees Burger & Liquor Bar Review
25 Degrees Burger & Liquor Bar is located on the ground floor of Hotel G – a 308-room three-star hotel with an artistic theme in the Bugis district. The restaurant has a frontage facing the Fortune Centre on Bencoolen Street. It has both indoor and alfresco dining area that can accommodate around 20 people at the maximum.
We were on a staycation at Hotel G and visited 25 Degrees Burger for breakfast as it was included in our hotel booking. Arriving on a Friday morning around 8am, the restaurant was almost full with only one vacant table. The dining area was rather small for a hotel with 300-odd rooms and we were wondering what would happen to the other guests who will be arriving after us. As we approached the entrance, we were greeted by the friendly staff and were then given a separate menu for hotel guests. There were 5 breakfast sets to choose from where each set includes croissants, fruits, and tea or coffee. We ordered two American Breakfast (sausage, omelette, baked beans and hashbrown) sets, a brewed coffee and tea with milk.
We were first served the beverages, fruits and croissants, while we waited for the main dishes. It was a pleasant wait with light upbeat music in the background as we nibbled on the croissants and sipped our beverages. While the croissants tasted fine, they were cold and lacks the crisp and flaky-ness that usually comes with the pastry. The coffee and tea were very similar to Kopi-O and Teh that we usually have at local coffeeshops (very Singaporean and very un-American).
The main dishes were served after a 15-minute wait. The American Breakfasts were served hot, but there were nothing to shout about regarding their taste. They tasted very typical of what we would whip up at home for breakfast. The sausage, baked beans and hashbrown were same as those we get from the supermarkets. The only plus point was that the omelette was fluffy and its serving is more than what is being offered by Big Breakfast at McDonalds’s.
We ended the breakfast by gobbling up the remaining pieces of fruits in the paper containers (1 small piece of watermelon, 1 slice of orange, 1 small piece of pineapple and 2 pieces of grapes in each container). The breakfast was a very simple fare and fine for being the breakfast that comes with our hotel booking. If we were to pay $12.00 for each of the breakfast set as indicated on their regular menu, we do not think it commensurate with the quantity and quality that is offered. It would be more worthwhile to spend the money at Burger King (Burlington Square) that is just 2 minutes walk away on the same street.
In all, the breakfast, service and ambiance at 25 Degrees were fine but wasn’t great. We give the quality of its breakfast a 3.5/5, its value-for-money 3.5/5 (considering it as being part of our hotel booking), the service of its staff a 3.8/5, and its ambience a 4/5.
