Chinese Garden CNY Celebrations 2026 (裕华园农历新年庆祝活动2026), the annual Lunar New Year highlight at the Chinese Garden in western Singapore, returns from 7 February - 3 March 2026. Staying true to tradition, the garden will be transformed with Chinese New Year–inspired landscaping, complemented by festive lantern displays adorning its iconic landmarks such as the Twin Pagoda, Teahouse and Stoneboat. These scenic backdrops offer perfect photo opportunities for families to capture meaningful moments after visiting relatives.
Chinese Garden CNY Celebrations 2025 (裕华园农历新年庆祝活动2025), the ultimate destination for family photos this Chinese New Year, will be held from 24 January - 12 February 2025 for the first time in five years following an extensive renovation. This year, the garden will reveal breathtaking Lunar New Year-inspired landscaping, complemented by festive lantern displays around its iconic landmarks, including the Twin Pagoda, Grand Arch and Stoneboat.
Spring Blossoms 2025 (滨海湾花园《白蛇传》新春花展2025), the annual floral display held during the Chinese New Year season, is returning to the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay (GBTB) from 17 January to 23 February 2025. This year's theme, "Spring Blossoms: Legend of Lady White Snake", is inspired by one of China’s four great folklores, the Legend of the White Snake. The exhibition features over a thousand dahlias, including five new varieties, alongside a striking 4.5-metre tall sculpture of Madam White Snake at the center.
River Hongbao 2023 (春到河畔 2023), the annual Chinese New Year (CNY) celebrations along the Singapore River, will take place from 20 - 28 January 2023 at Gardens by the Bay (GBTB). Apart from taking photos with giant God of Fortune lantern, floating 'Dance of Spring' lantern set and various themes of lanterns in the shape of rabbits, a host of performances, activities, food fair, and amusement rides await all visitors throughout the 9-day event.
River Hongbao 2024 (春到河畔 2024), the annual Chinese New Year (CNY) celebrations in the Marina Bay area, will be held from 8 - 17 February 2024 at Gardens by the Bay (GBTB). Apart from taking photos with the giant God of Fortune statue, 140-metre long dragon lantern and various lunar new year lanterns, lightings and decorations, visitors can look forward to nightly stage performances, a local food fair, an exhibition on the history CNY markets in Singapore, and amusement rides at this 10-day CNY carnival.
Chingay 2025 (新加坡妆艺大游行2025), the 53rd edition of Singapore's renowned Chinese New Year street parade, returns to the F1 Pit Building for two spectacular nights on 7 & 8 February 2025! Attendees will immerse in a vibrant festive atmosphere, marvel at intricately designed Chingay floats and enjoy multicultural street performances by over 4,000 talented community performers. This year’s Chingay parade features floats inspired by Singapore’s vibrant food culture, a special SG60 showcase with 60 lion dancers and drummers to mark Singapore’s 60th birthday, and a brand-new immersive parade experience that brings the audience closer to the action than ever before.
Chingay @ Heartlands 2025 brings the lively spirit of the Chingay Parade to Singapore’s neighbourhoods, taking place over eight evenings across the island. The festivities will roll through various locations on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9 February to 2 March 2025. The procession will feature the floats from the Chinese New Year celebrations earlier, alongside performances like lion dances, LED dragon dances, Getai and live music at select stops. At certain constituencies, visitors can also enjoy snacks and receive a goodie bag.
Light to Night Festival 2025, a flagship event of Singapore Art Week, will take place from 17 January to 6 February 2025, centered around the Asian Civilisations Museum and other downtown venues. Coinciding with the Chinese New Year (CNY) festivities, this year’s festival will feature outdoor art installations, an art fair, craft activities, and performances that celebrate the architectural beauty of pagodas and the wonders of the celestial world. On select dates, there will also be traditional Chinese performances, including Getai and lion dance shows.
RWS Spring in the SEA 2025, the annual Chinese New Year celebration at the S.E.A. Aquarium, Resort World Sentosa (RWS), returns from 22 January - 16 February 2025. Event highlights include a performance of spring melodies by the Chinese ensemble Ding Yi, a marine-themed craft workshop, photo opportunities with the adorable Manta mascots, and the beloved underwater dragon dance!
Huayi Chinese Festival of Arts 2025 (华艺节2025), the annual cultural celebration during the Chinese New Year, returns from 7 - 16 February 2025 at The Esplanade. Over 10 days, the festival will feature the works of artists from both Singapore and abroad, offering twenty exciting events that include concerts, workshops, Teochew opera, theatre performances, storytelling sessions, and cultural dance performances.
