Huayi Chinese Festival of the Arts 2023

Huayi Chinese Festival of the Arts 2023 (华艺节2023), an annual cultural festival by Esplanade during the Chinese New Year, will take place from 27 January – 5 February 2023. The event showcases works of prominent Chinese artists, locally and abroad, through a series workshops, theatre, dances, films, music performances.

Highlights of this year’s edition include performances by Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, a comedy play by Tseng Kuo Chen 曾国城 & Pu Hsueh-liang 卜学亮, and a Mandarin hip hop concert by Singaporean and Malaysian artists in the like of ShiGGA Shay, Tosh Rock, Dato Maw and more.
