List of neighbourhood shops & hawker stalls to get $3 cashback for paying with DBS PayLah! in Singapore 2024

DBS PayLah Hawker Meals - POSB Support Our Heartlands
Discover the neighbourhood shops, wet markets, hawker stalls, hawker centres, food courts, coffee shops, and canteens where you can receive a $3 cashback by using DBS PayLah! There is no minimum spend required, and the promotion is valid every Saturday until 31 December 2024.

How can I get the $3 cashback with PayLah?

DBS Bank initially launched an initiative to help Singapore residents manage rising costs and support the hawker industry by subsidising over 5 million hawker meals. The subsidy provided up to SGD 3 per meal and was available for one and a half years, every Friday from 10 February 2023 to 26 July 2024.

Though the original programme has concluded, DBS has expanded its POSB Neighbourhoods Cashback programme to include hawker stalls. The updated programme now offers up to SGD 3 cashback at participating neighbourhood shops, wet markets and hawker stalls. Unlike the previous DBS Hawker Meals initiative, redemptions are now available on Saturdays.

To be eligible for this subsidy, simply use the DBS PayLah! app to make payments at SGQR-enabled hawker, coffee shop, canteen, food court and wet market stalls and heartland shops affixed with the “POSB supports our heartland shops” sticker

Here are the specifics and terms of the promotion:

  • Period: 3 August 2024 to 31 December 2024
  • Validity: Saturdays from 6:00am
  • Limitation: First 75,000 transactions every Saturday (one redemption per customer only)
  • Minimum spend: SGD 0
  • Cashback value: Up to SGD 3 (for payments less than SGD 3, the cashback will be the value of the transaction)
  • Customer qualification: You need to be a DBS PayLah! user to qualify for this rebate. While you don’t need to have a POSB/DBS deposit account to use PayLah!, you will need to be a Singapore resident with SingPass to create the account. Sign up for the PayLah! app here using the referral code <JEFRMH395> to receive SGD 5.
