Receive $3 cashback with DBS PayLah! at participating neighbourhood shops, wet markets, hawker stalls, food courts, coffee shops, and canteens. Available every Saturday from 12 July to 27 September 2025, with no minimum spend required.

How can I get the $3 cashback with PayLah?

DBS Bank launched a major initiative in 2023 that subsidised over 5 million hawker meals, helping Singaporeans and residents cope with rising living costs while supporting the local hawker scene. The programme offered subsidies of up to SGD 3 per meal and ran every Friday from 10 February 2023 to 26 July 2024.

Building on that effort, the bank expanded the POSB Neighbourhoods Cashback programme from 3 August to 31 December 2024. The enhanced scheme included hawker stalls alongside neighbourhood shops and wet markets, offering up to SGD 3 cashback at participating outlets. In contrast to the previous hawker meals initiative, redemptions were available only on Saturdays.

This year, in celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday (SG60), DBS is reintroducing its SGD 3 cashback every Saturday from 12 July to 27 September 2025, with 22,718 hawker stalls and heartland shops participating.

Like in previous runs, customers can enjoy the offer by using the DBS PayLah! app to pay at SGQR-enabled hawker, coffee shop, canteen, food court and wet market stalls and heartland shops bearing the “POSB supports our heartland shops” sticker
