River Hongbao 2025 (春到河畔 2025), a highlight of Chinese New Year (CNY) celebrations in Singapore, is set to return for 10 days from 27 January - 5 February 2025 at Gardens by the Bay (GBTB) to usher in the Year of the Snake. In keeping with tradition, visitors can take photos with the stunning God of Fortune statue at the The Meadow and marvel at the lunar new year lanterns, lights, and decorations, all themed around this year's zodiac sign, the Snake.
Chingay 2025 (新加坡妆艺大游行2025), the 53rd edition of Singapore's renowned Chinese New Year street parade, returns to the F1 Pit Building for two spectacular nights on 7 & 8 February 2025! Attendees will immerse in a vibrant festive atmosphere, marvel at intricately designed Chingay floats and enjoy multicultural street performances by over 4,000 talented community performers. This year’s Chingay parade features floats inspired by Singapore’s vibrant food culture, a special SG60 showcase with 60 lion dancers and drummers to mark Singapore’s 60th birthday, and a brand-new immersive parade experience that brings the audience closer to the action than ever before.
Huayi Chinese Festival of Arts 2025 (华艺节2025), the annual cultural celebration during the Chinese New Year, returns from 7 - 16 February 2025 at The Esplanade. Over 10 days, the festival will feature the works of artists from both Singapore and abroad, offering twenty exciting events that include concerts, workshops, Teochew opera, theatre performances, storytelling sessions, and cultural dance performances.
Chingay @ Heartlands 2025 brings the lively spirit of the Chingay Parade to Singapore’s neighbourhoods, taking place over eight evenings across the island. The festivities will roll through various locations on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9 February to 2 March 2025. The procession will feature the floats from the Chinese New Year celebrations earlier, alongside performances like lion dances, LED dragon dances, Getai and live music at select stops. Spring Blossoms 2026 (滨海湾花园新春花展2026《春花盛开之骏马奔腾》), the annual Chinese New Year floral exhibition, is returning to the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay (GBTB) from 16 January to 1 March 2026. This year's theme, "Spring Blossoms: Gallop into Prosperity", celebrates the Year of the Horse with eight life-sized horse lanterns, meticulously handcrafted by Chinese artisans using techniques that date back over a thousand years to the Tang Dynasty.
RWS Spring into Waves of Wonder 2026, the annual Chinese New Year celebration at the mega aquarium in Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), returns from 30 January - 3 March 2026. Event highlights include enchanting underwater seahorse and majestic dragon dances, meet-and-greets with Manta mascots, and cultural music performances that blend sounds from diverse traditions. Visitors can also enjoy a selection of Chinese New Year–themed festive snacks available throughout the celebration period.
Chinese Garden CNY Celebrations 2026 (裕华园农历新年庆祝活动2026), the annual Lunar New Year highlight at the Chinese Garden in western Singapore, returns from 7 February - 3 March 2026. Our Tampines Hub Chinese New Year Concert 2026 (骏马迎春贺新岁2026 Spring Melodies) is a free Getai concert taking place on CNY Day 5, 21 February 2026, at Festive Plaza, Our Tampines Hub. The show will be led by veteran local celebrity Marcus Chin 陈建彬 alongside YES933 DJ Hazelle Teo 张颖双, with support from popular internet personalities Jasper Lai 赖宇涵 and Lim Xixi 茜茜. Audiences can also look forward to lively performances by Getai singers Yuan Jin 袁瑾, Tian Yue 天悦, and more.
