List of Pasar Malam 2025 / 2026 in Singapore

Pasar Malam, literally translated to Night Market from the Malay language, has been part of Singapore’s and neighbouring countries’ culture for decades. But unlike those in Malaysia and Indonesia which are typically held at fixed locations, a Pasar Malam in Singapore stays at one location for around one month before moving to another part of the island.

These roving night markets are usually held in the neighbourhoods, offering a variety of products from bags, durians to home décor, fun fairs, and street snacks for residents staying nearby. It is at these bazaars that Singaporeans look forward to family bonding time after a day of hard work. While its name containing the word malam suggests that it operates at night, individual stall vendors have the autonomy to decide their own opening and closing hours. As such, some stalls may open as early as 10am while others close as late as 2am. 

These night bazaars were ordered to stop operating since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. They only returned in April 2022, starting with the Ramadan bazaars in Geylang Serai. Since their return, Singaporeans and local residents have shown tremendous support by patronising these mobile fairs and stalls in droves.
