Thomson – East Coast Line Stage 4 Opening Event 2024

Thomson – East Coast Line Stage 4 Opening Event 2024 (TEL 4 Opening Event) is scheduled for Friday, 21 June 2024, coinciding with the last Friday of the June school holiday. The festivities will run from 10:00am to 9:00pm.

On top of getting free rides to explore the local heritage, natural wildlife, and vibrant retail experiences surrounding the seven MRT stations of TEL4 in Katong and Marine Parade precincts, commuters can look forward to participate in a variety of festive activities. These include interactive games, train simulators, a pop-up store featuring LTA merchandise, and special meet-and-greet opportunities with the Thoughtful Bunch mascots at selected stations.

The TEL4 stations will commence for passenger service officially on 23 June 2024 (Sunday). For updates and details of the activities on the opening day, check out LTA’s social media pages or the TEL4 Brouchure.

Note: Founder’s Memorial MRT station (TE22A) will only operate in 2027, in tandem with the opening of the upcoming museum that commemorates “the values and ideals exemplified by Singapore’s first generation leaders”.
