The IISS looks forward to hosting Asia’s premier security summit, the IISS Shangri-La Dialogue 2022, which will take place in Singapore on 10–12 June 2022.
At a time of ever-greater focus on the geopolitical and defence dynamics of the Asia-Pacific, the importance of in-person debate among the region’s key actors is greater than ever. The IISS Shangri-La Dialogue is a unique platform for such debate, enabling government ministers and senior officials, as well as business leaders and security experts, to come together to share fresh perspectives on Asia’s developing security challenges.
Although we are all still living with the effects of a global pandemic, the IISS is confident that, after a two-year hiatus, the Shangri-La Dialogue will once again be a fully in-person event. It will feature plenary debates led by government ministers, as well as important opportunities for bilateral discussions among delegations.
For 60 years, the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) has helped to shape the strategic agenda for governments, businesses, the media and experts across the world.
