During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, dedicating the time to self-reflection and spiritual growth. In the evenings, families and friends gather to break their fast, known as iftar, and come together for prayer.
In Singapore, it is customary for families to shop for new clothing, furniture, snacks, and treats in preparation for the Hari Raya Puasa celebration (also known as Hari Raya Aidilfitri or Eid al-Fitr), which marks the end of the fasting month.

Singapore Muslim Festival
The largest Islamic exhibition and carnival in Singapore is returning this year, three weeks before Ramadan. In addition to learning about the Islamic faith and exploring Rasulullah artifacts through an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) exhibition, visitors can look forward to a range of activities, including religious talks by 23 prominent Islamic scholars, Quran recitations, stage performances by popular regional artists, and a halal food and lifestyle fair, all at this 3-day extravaganza.

Halal Eid Expo
Organised by the team behind the Halal Expo series of bazaars, this pre-Ramadan event features a wide range of cooked food, ready-to-eat meals, and Ramadan essentials to help Muslims prepare for the upcoming fasting month, just two weeks away.
Attendees can also enjoy a range of entertainment, including exciting challenges, competitions, and performances by renowned regional celebrities such as Aliff Syukri & Shahida, Vida, Elly Mazlein, Bell Nagasri, and more!

Kampong Gelam Ramadan Bazaar
Kampong Glam is one of Singapore’s two Muslim enclaves where major Ramadan bazaars are held. This year, the month-long event, themed “Gemilang Kampong Gelam 2.0”, returns with over 120 food and retail booths, providing a space for Muslims to gather, break their fasts, and shop, while offering residents and tourists the chance to immerse themselves in a culturally rich and festive atmosphere in Singapore’s vibrant Muslim quarter.
Other than feasting and shopping at this bazaar, visitors can enjoy a series of cultural and contemporary performances, hands-on workshops and treasure hunts, along with light projection shows accompanied by locally composed music on the iconic Sultan Mosque.

Me-You Market Eid Core
Me-You Market’s annual flea market is back, bigger and better than ever!
This year’s event, themed “Eid Core”, will take place over two levels of a shopping mall in the Orchard from 21 to 23 February 2025, just a week before Ramadan.
Shoppers can explore over 65 renowned Singaporean, Malaysian, and Indonesian brands offering a mixture of traditional and contemporary clothing and accessories. Additionally, 8 F&B stalls will serve a tempting variety of snacks and coffee, keeping you refreshed as you shop.

Bazar Raya Utara
Initiated by the People’s Association, the annual mega pasar malam and Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebratory event in northern Singapore will return to the open field beside Sembawang MRT station and Sun Plaza from 21 February – 29 March 2025. Apart from being a food and retail fair, performances and community activities have been scheduled to be held throughout this month-long event.
The bazaar offers a convenient venue for Muslims staying in the North to break fast with family and friends in the evenings this Ramadan close to home.

Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar
Singapore’s flagship Ramadan bazaar returns to Geylang Serai from 26 February to the early hours of Hari Raya Puasa on 31 March 2025 (Monday). The fair will be held along the pedestrian walkways surrounding Wisma Geylang Serai, the community hub at the heart of Singapore’s traditional Malay quarters.
Also known as Bazar Raya Geylang Serai, this iconic fair is the centerpiece of Ramadan in Singapore, featuring an unparalleled selection of products for visitors to explore. With over 500 stalls offering everything from mouthwatering cooked food and festive treats to home furnishings, clothing, books, and mobile accessories, there’s something for everyone. Like last year, 150 F&B stalls will feature a S$3 menu, providing a wallet-friendly option for those looking to enjoy delicious meals.
Beyond shopping, visitors can capture memorable family photos with the stunning Hari Raya light-up as a backdrop. Additionally, Wisma Geylang Serai has lined up a series of performances featuring regionally acclaimed celebrities to enhance the festive experience.

Hari Raya Pasar Malam (Tampines Central)
This mega Pasar Malam, located beside Tampines MRT station and Tampines Mall, is designated as a Hari Raya fair and will showcase vendors selling a wide array of festive goodies, decorations, and products.
The fair will operate for a month starting from the weekend before Ramadan, providing a perfect opportunity to immerse oneself in the festive spirit of this cultural celebration. Don’t miss out on the chance to experience the lively and vibrant atmosphere of this Pasar Malam!

Bazaria Marsiling
For those in the Woodlands area, this neighborhood pasar malam next to Causeway Point offers a convenient option for evening shopping this Ramadan. The Hari Raya fair will feature over 70 stalls selling cooked food, festive cookies and bakes, decorative items, and more. On top of breaking fast with delicious food and snacks at the night market, visitors can look forward to performances by prominent Malay artists and singers, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The event will run for four weeks throughout Ramadan, ending three days before Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Ramadhan Bazaar @ Jurong West
This is the only major Ramadan bazaar in the western part of Singapore this year, offering a convenient spot for Muslims living in the far west to gather for iftar (the fast-breaking evening meal). The bazaar features dozens of food stalls, providing a wide variety of options, from hearty meals like biryani to light snacks such as kueh-kueh and desserts.

CelebFest Ramadan
CelebFest, short for The Celebrity Festival, truly lives up to its name with a star-studded lineup of regional celebrities making appearances and performing at this annual Ramadan event.
In addition to being entertained by exciting performances from dozens of popular artists, visitors can also indulge in a shopping extravaganza that’s bigger than ever. With hundreds of vendors spread across four exhibition halls, the fair showcases a diverse range of products, from delectable food, snacks, and cookies to fragrances, health supplements, and stylish Muslimah fashion.

Sengkang Ramadan Bazaar
Making a special appearance in a more serene part of Sengkang this year, this Ramadan bazaar is ideally located at the border of Hougang and Buangkok. It offers residents of Northeastern Singapore, including Hougang, Sengkang, and Buangkok, a convenient and local spot to break their fast.
Muslims performing their Tarawih prayers at Masjid Al-Mawaddah, just three LRT stops away, may also consider visiting this bazaar before or after their prayers.

Zak Salaam India Expo
The Zak Salaam India Expo is a premier Indian consumer product event, held three to four times a year. The 38th edition, taking place over four days from 13 – 16 March 2025, will celebrate the festivities of Eid al-Fitr and Tamil New Year.
This expo brings together an eclectic range of vendors showcasing a variety of products from India and beyond. Attendees can discover everything from halal foods and cooking pastes to festive decorations, fashion and jewellery.
Beyond shopping, visitors can enjoy an exciting lineup of activities, including a kids’ programme, cooking challenges and eating competitions. Community iftar will also take place on 14 & 15 March 2025.

LaLooLalang’s annual Raya popup is making its return to the Aliwal Arts Centre in Kampong Glam, after a one-year hiatus at Gillman Barracks last year.
This year, in collaboration with Malaysia’s Pasar Seloka, the Ramadan fair will showcase a carefully curated selection of 35 vendors from Singapore and Malaysia. Shoppers can browse a diverse range of fashion, clothing, bags, accessories and cosmetics.

One can find a good variety of food options as well as shop for clothing and accessories for the upcoming Raya at this fair.

Giant Ramadan Pasar Malam
Held for 3 weeks leading up to the eve of Hari Raya Puasa, this food fair located at the car park just outside Giant Hypermart in Tampines will be offering a variety of popular pasar malam food and snacks from Turkish shawarmam, Ramly burger, takoyaki, kueh kueh, vadai to desserts. Durian lovers can also get their hands on the king of fruit at the event.
After getting your stomachs filled at the bazaar, consider ending the trip with a visit to Giant to shop for Raya groceries and home essentials, as well as to the nearby IKEA and Courts to check out new furniture and electrical appliances.
