Singapore Bird Race 2024, celebrating its 40th edition, will take place on 9 & 10 November 2024. This annual event promotes the appreciation, awareness, and conservation of wild birds in Singapore. The highlight is the signature 24-hour marathon, starting at around noon on November 9 and concluding the next day. During this period, birdwatchers and enthusiasts can explore at their own pace, birdwatching, walking, and running while logging their observations of local bird species, including endangered ones.
On November 10, races in various categories will kick off in the morning at the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve (SBWR). Participants will watch for and log bird sightings, with most categories concluding at Mapletree Business City in Pasir Panjang. Participants can use public or personal transport to submit their log sheets.
