Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar 2022 (Hari Raya Bazaar 2022) has returned after a 2-year hiatus and will be held from 2 April to 2 May 2022 at Wisma Geylang Serai (Geylang Serai Community Club) with about 40 stalls. The objective of bazaar, known officially as Geylang Serai Hari Raya Shopping Experience 2022, is to preserve the celebration of Hari Raya during Ramadan and be inclusive and vibrant to attract other ethnic communities to appreciate the Malay culture.
The bazaar is divided into two sections, a food section and a festivities clothing, decorations and accessories section. The food section, named Food Paradise, comprises of around eight food stalls selling contemporary food items like Ramly burgers, steaks, vadai, waffles, paella, bubble tea, and fresh coconuts. The non-food section extends from within Wisma Geylang Serai to the tentage outside the building, selling songkoks, festivities clothing, pre-packed snacks and goodies, and more.
On 5 April 2022, it was announced that 10 more food & beverage and 20 more retail stalls will be added to the bazaar from 14 April 2022 onwards.
