Chingay 2023, the annual street parade that celebrates multiculturalism in Singapore, will take place on 3 & 4 February 2023 at the F1 Pit Building. Apart from showcasing the iconic Chingay floats and 17 mini-floats co-created in the community, the parade will also feature cultural performances by youths from various ethnic groups in a show of unity, heritage and diversity in the country. Themed ‘Embrace Tomorrow’, this year’s event calls on Singaporeans to treasure the present and embrace tomorrow together as a community with hope, dream, and confidence.
While Chingay 2023 will be broadcasted on TV and streamed online live for free, tickets are available for those who are keen to watch the parade in person at the 2-day event. Selected floats and performances will also be brought to the heartlands in the month after the parade so that residents who did not manage to attend the event at F1 Pit Building can get to watch and enjoy the celebration as well.
