Shuang Lin Monastery Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration 2025 (双林寺《灯辉月朗,国阜民康》中秋节庆祝活动2025) returns from 27 September - 6 October 2025 at the Buddhist temple in Toa Payoh. In collaboration with the People's Association (PA), this year’s celebration offers visitors the chance to capture memorable photos with lanterns displayed throughout the monastery, enjoy live performances, and take part in cultural and traditional activities with family and friends, making it a truly special occasion.
Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrations 2025 (牛车水中秋节庆祝活动2025), Singapore’s annual Mooncake Festival celebration in the heart of the city’s traditional Chinese quarter, returns from 18 September - 20 October 2025. In keeping with tradition, the streets of Chinatown will come alive with vibrant lanterns and light displays, illuminating the area from 7pm each evening. This year’s decorations will not only showcase the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival but also celebrate Singapore's 60th anniversary with the theme "60 Glorious Years: Celebrating Mid-Autumn in Singapore 辉煌六十载, 月满新加坡".
Gardens by the Bay Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 (滨海花园庆中秋2025) returns for 21 enchanting evenings from 22 September - 12 October 2025! As part of the SG60 celebrations marking Singapore's 60th anniversary, this year’s festival will showcase ten lantern displays inspired by beloved local cartoon characters, highlighting the evolution of the Mid-Autumn Festival in Singapore over the years. Visitors can also enjoy two special lantern displays that celebrate Singapore’s international ties with the Republic of Korea and the People’s Republic of China, featuring characters and stories from the rich cultures of both countries.
Mid-Autumn Family Fun 2025 (中秋合家FUN:"SINGAPO人"一起玩), Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre’s (SCCC) annual Lantern Festival celebration, returns on 4 & 5 October 2025, right on the eve of the festival. Taking place across SCCC and the Singapore Conference Hall, this year’s edition features more than 15 ticketed and free family-friendly activities. From mooncake and tea tasting, guided lantern walks, and moon-and-star gazing, to hands-on workshops, traditional cultural performances, and more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 (总商会迎中秋·花好月圆聚晚晴2025), the annual celebration by Sun Yat-sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (SYNMH), will be held in collaboration with the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) on 27 & 28 September 2025 at the SCCCI building, as the Memorial Hall is currently closed for restoration. Visitors can look forward to a weekend filled with hands-on activities and cultural experiences, where families can enjoy festive crafts, traditional games, storytelling and lantern riddle guessing. Music and dance performances inspired by the legendary tale of Emperor Tang’s visit to the Moon Palace will also be part of the celebration.
Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 (晚晴园庆中秋2024), the annual Moon Festival celebration at the historic Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, will take place from 20 August - 15 September 2024. This year's theme, "Moonlit Legends", features larger-than-life traditional lanterns depicting beloved Mid-Autumn Festival characters. The festival's highlight will be on 14 & 15 September, with a host of exciting activities as we celebrate in grand style before the memorial hall temporarily closes for restoration.
Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival 2023, Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall's open house event to celebrate the Moon Festival, will take place on the  23 & 24 September 2023. Visitors can look forward to a host of ticketed and free activities from mooncake tasting, workshops, games, talks, guided tours, cultural performances to lantern riddles guessing over that weekend. The lawn of the museum has also been decorated with giant panda lanterns that visitors can take a selfies and photographs with from 29 August to 1 October 2023.
Lights by the Lake 2025 (裕廊湖花园中秋灯会2025), the annual Mid-Autumn Festival celebration at Jurong Lake Gardens, returns for 16 enchanting nights from 27 September to 12 October 2025! This year’s exhibition offers an immersive journey through the legendary Chinese novel JOURNEY TO THE WEST 西游记, transforming the garden into a magical realm where ancient stories come to life through dazzling lantern displays.
Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrations 2024 (牛车水中秋节庆祝活动2024), Singapore's annual Mooncake Festival celebration in Chinatown, returns from 30 August - 2 October 2024. In addition to the vibrant lanterns and light displays that illuminate Chinatown's streets each evening from 7pm for 34 days, visitors can enjoy a range of traditional and cultural activities. These include a festive bazaar, weekend stage performances, mass lantern walks, a lantern painting workshop and lantern riddle games.
Lights by the Lake 2024 (裕廊湖花园中秋灯会2024), the annual Mid-Autumn Festival celebration at Jurong Lake Gardens, is back for 15 enchanting days from 8 - 22 September 2024! Visitors will be captivated by breathtaking lantern displays and light projection shows scattered throughout the garden, including those floating on the lake and in the newly reopened Chinese and Japanese gardens. Families and children can also enjoy a variety of activities, such as vibrant music performances, traditional dances, lantern riddles and movie screenings.
