Mid-Autumn Family Fun 2026 (中秋合家FUN2026), the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre's annual Lantern Festival celebration, will take place across SCCC and the Singapore Chinese Orchestra Exhibition Halls on 19 & 20 September 2026. The lineup features more than 14 free and ticketed family activities, ranging from lantern walks and stargazing to rooftop light installations, mooncake tastings, traditional performances and craft workshops.

Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrations 2026 (牛车水中秋节庆祝活动2026) returns this year in a more subdued format, with the main celebrations taking place on 19 September 2026 at Kreta Ayer Square. Notably, the much-anticipated street lighting and festive decorations that have traditionally adorned the streets of Chinatown during the Mid-Autumn Festival will NOT be featured this year. The main highlight takes place on 19 September under the theme "Light a Lantern, Share Your Blessing".

Complementing the main storyline are other lantern displays featuring traditional festival icons like Chang'e 嫦娥, the Jade Rabbit 玉兔, and the glowing full moon 月圆夜.

Gardens by the Bay Mid-Autumn Festival 2026 (滨海花园庆中秋2026), the annual Chinese lantern festival at the iconic gardens in Marina Bay, returns for 16 evenings from 12 – 27 September 2026. This year's lantern installations feature Fenbao and Friends, a whimsical cast of cartoon characters created by local artist Lau Sau Hoong. The characters will take centre stage across several lantern displays throughout the gardens.

Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrations 2025 (牛车水中秋节庆祝活动2025), Singapore’s annual Mooncake Festival celebration in the heart of the city’s traditional Chinese quarter, returns from 18 September - 20 October 2025. In keeping with tradition, the streets of Chinatown will come alive with vibrant lanterns and light displays, illuminating the area from 7pm each evening. This year’s decorations will not only showcase the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival but also celebrate Singapore's 60th anniversary with the theme "60 Glorious Years: Celebrating Mid-Autumn in Singapore 辉煌六十载, 月满新加坡".

Gardens by the Bay Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 (滨海花园庆中秋2025) returns for 21 enchanting evenings from 22 September - 12 October 2025! As part of the SG60 celebrations marking Singapore's 60th anniversary, this year’s festival will showcase ten lantern displays inspired by beloved local cartoon characters, highlighting the evolution of the Mid-Autumn Festival in Singapore over the years. Visitors can also enjoy two special lantern displays that celebrate Singapore’s international ties with the Republic of Korea and the People’s Republic of China, featuring characters and stories from the rich cultures of both countries.

Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 (总商会迎中秋·花好月圆聚晚晴2025), the annual celebration by Sun Yat-sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (SYNMH), will be held in collaboration with the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) on 27 & 28 September 2025 at the SCCCI building, as the Memorial Hall is currently closed for restoration. Visitors can look forward to a weekend filled with hands-on activities and cultural experiences, where families can enjoy festive crafts, traditional games, storytelling and lantern riddle guessing. Music and dance performances inspired by the legendary tale of Emperor Tang’s visit to the Moon Palace will also be part of the celebration.

Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 (晚晴园庆中秋2024), the annual Moon Festival celebration at the historic Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, will take place from 20 August - 15 September 2024. This year's theme, "Moonlit Legends", features larger-than-life traditional lanterns depicting beloved Mid-Autumn Festival characters. The festival's highlight will be on 14 & 15 September, with a host of exciting activities as we celebrate in grand style before the memorial hall temporarily closes for restoration.
