Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrations 2023 (2023 年牛车水中秋节庆祝活动) is back in the Chinatown district from 15 September to 14 October 2023. A host activities from festive bazaar, stage performances, lantern making session, lantern walks, to savouring festive goodies like pomelo, mooncakes and piggy biscuits await all visitors to Chinatown during this period.
Singapore Hokkien Lam Ann Festival 2023 (新加坡福建南安文化节2023), a 10-day celebration of Fujian culture and heritage, will take place from 29 September - 8 October 2023 at the Lam Ann Association Building. In commemoration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the first day of the festival will kick off with traditional festive activities such as riddle guessing games, lantern painting and mooncake making workshops. The remaining 9 days of the festival will include Chinese culture talks from tea appreciation, calligraphy to fortune telling, KTV competition, and workshops on health and law. A food and product fair featuring Lam Ann snacks and crafts will also be held on the side throughout the event.
Halloween Horror Nights 2023, the 11th edition of the annual haunted house attraction at Universal Studio Singapore (USS), is back this year from 29 September - 4 November 2023. This year's event include 5 terrifying haunted houses (including Netflix's "All of Us Are Dead" theme), 3 sinister scare zones, 2 live shows and a special show.
District M 2023, a music festival in Marina Central that includes Marina Square, Millenia Walk, South Beach and Suntec City, will take place from 6 - 7 October 2023. 30 talented local artistes and bands will be performing live at 4 music zones in these 4 malls. Visitors and shoppers will get to enjoy melodious music and vocals over these 2 days, free of charge.
