SMU Arts Fest 2023, the annual arts festival by the Singapore Management University (SMU), will take place over 6 weekends from 18 August to 24 September 2023 on campus as well as various art venues in the city. Themed "Post", the event this year will showcase thought-provoking works that explore the evolving relationship between humanity, technology and the arts in the forms of exhibitions, dances, and theatre plays.
Gardens by the Bay Mid-Autumn Festival 2023, the annual festive lantern display at the iconic garden in Marina Bay, returns this year from 15 September - 1 October 2023. Themed "Garden of Blooms", visitors will get to take photographs with specially designed lanterns inspired by Chinese mythology, legends and cultures depicting reunion, fate and affinity. Apart from the lantern light-up, a host of activities from cultural performances, workshops, street food fair, carnival games and rides have been scheduled throughout the 2-week event.
Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrations 2023 (2023 年牛车水中秋节庆祝活动) is back in the Chinatown district from 15 September to 14 October 2023. A host activities from festive bazaar, stage performances, lantern making session, lantern walks, to savouring festive goodies like pomelo, mooncakes and piggy biscuits await all visitors to Chinatown during this period.
Comics Art and Sci Fi Expo 2023, an event for fans of comics, animation, games, movies and cosplay, will be held at the Singapore Science Centre over 2 weekends from 16 - 24 September 2023. Highlights of the expo includes an art exhibition, stage performances, workshops and showcases of comic, art and cosplay creations. A year after their last show here in July 2022, the multi-award winning South Korean hip hop trio is back with new songs from their third Extended Play (EP) "Strawberry". The show this is expected to feature songs from the EP such as "On My Way" and "Catch", which were produced in collaboration with prolific K-pop stars Jackson Wang from GOT7 and Hwasa from Mamamoo, respectively.
