HingHwa Food & Cultural Festival 2024 (Singapore)

HingHwa Food & Cultural Festival 2024 (新加坡兴化美食文化节2024), an event to promote Puxian 莆仙 food and culture in Singapore, will be held for 6 days from 12 – 17 March 2024 at the Civic Plaza, Ngee Ann City. Apart from savouring over 30 iconic Henghua food and snacks such as Lychee pork 荔枝肉, Oyster pancake 海蛎煎饼 and Putian Lor Mee 莆田卤面, visitors will get to immerse themselves in cultural performances ranging from martial arts displays and Chinese opera shows to calligraphy demonstrations and music ensembles. Singaporean artistes and celebrities including Joanna Dong 董姿彦, Nathan Hartono 向洋, Pan Ying 潘盈 and Huang Xiu Ling 黄秀玲 will also be making guest appearances at the fair.

If you happen to be in the Orchard area, don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about the Puxian culture and dialect. This event is organised by the Singapore Puxian (Hinghua) Association and supported by China’s Putian Municipal People’s Government.
