Christmas on a Great Street 2022 / 2023, the annual festive celebration in the Orchard shopping belt, will be held from 12 November 2022 to 2 January 2023. In its 39th year, dazzling Christmas lightings and decorations will once again fill both shopping malls and roads in the area. The highlights of this year’s light-up are the use of 104 trees with white LED lights that will switch to a pink hue and be reused for Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day in 2023, as well as a Augmented Reality (AR) projection show every evening from 7pm to 10pm at Mandarin Gallery.
Apart from the visual displays, the Great Christmas Village, a carnival with live stage performances, kiddy rides, gourmet food, beer garden and arts & craft workshops, will be returning to Ngee Ann City from 7 December 2022 to 2 January 2023 after a 2-year hiatus.
