Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrations 2022 (2022 年牛车水中秋节庆祝活动) will be held from 26 August to 10 September 2022. Other than having the traditional festive lighting turned on during this period, night bazaars, stage performances, and a lantern painting competition will take place in the Chinatown precinct.
Chinatown Mooncake Festival 2022 Activities
- 26 August 2022: Mid-Autumn light-up ceremony along Eu Tong Sen Street
- 26 August – 10 September 2022 – Food fair (Pasar Malam) at Chinatown Food Street
- 26 August – 24 September 2022 – Trade fair (Pasar Malam) beside OG People’s Park
- 27 – 28 August, 3 -4 September, 10 September 2022 – Chinese cultural performances at Kreta Ayer Square (open space beside Buddha Tooth Relic Temple) from 7:00pm to 8:30pm
- 4 September 2022 – Lantern painting competition from 9:00am to 2:00pm at Chinatown Point. Click here to register.
