Phone Banking
Follow these easy steps to request for late charge fee waiver or finance charge fee waiver from UOB. Phone banking is the most convenient way to waive your UOB credit card late fee.
- Call 1800-222-2121 or (65) 6222 2121 when calling from overseas
- Press 1 for English
- Press 1 for chat services and phone banking
- Press 2 for phone banking
- Press 2 for fee waiver and application status
- Press 1 for credit card fee waiver
- Press 2 for late charge and finance charge fee waiver
- Enter your credit card number, followed by the # key
- Enter your 8 digits mobile phone number, followed by the # key if requested
- Your UOB credit card late charge fee and finance charge fee will be submitted and processed. You will be updated with an SMS once it is successfully processed.
Online Chat
Alternatively, UOB credit card holders may also apply for late charge or finance charge fee waiver online through UOB Chat Assist by following the steps below:
- Visit https://www.uob.com.sg/personal/chat.page
- Click on the chat icon at the bottom right of the screen
- Enter security check code
- Select Fee Waiver
- Select Credit Card
- Select Late Charge and Finance Charge
- Enter your credit card number
- Enter the OTP sent to your mobile phone number
- Your UOB credit card late charge fee and finance charge fee will be submitted and processed. You will be updated with an SMS once it is successfully processed.
UOB TMRW Mobile App
Requesting for a late and finance charge waiver is more straightforward for UOB TMRW mobile app users. You just need to perform the 8 steps below:
- Login to UOB TMRW mobile app
- Tap on ‘Accounts’ menu item at the bottom of the screen
- Select and tap on the card to request for late charge fee waiver
- Tap on ‘Settings’
- Select ‘Waive fees’
- Select ‘Late and finance charges’
- Tap ‘Next’
- Review the details and slide the ‘Confirm’ slider to submit your request
