Phone Banking
Phone banking is the most conventional way to request a waiver for UOB credit card annual or membership fees for:
- UOB PRVI Miles American Express Card
- UOB PRVI Miles World Mastercard
- UOB PRVI Miles Visa Card
- UOB One Credit Card
- UOB Absolute Cashback Credit Card
- UOB EVO Credit Card
- Lazada-UOB Card
- UOB Lady’s Credit Card
- UOB Lady’s Solitaire Card
- KrisFlyer UOB Credit Card
- UOB Visa Infinite Metal Card
- Metro-UOB Card
- UOB Preferred Platinum Visa Card
- Singtel-UOB Card
- UOB UnionPay Card
- UOB Visa Signature Card
- UOB Professionals Platinum Card
Follow these steps:
- Call 1800-222-2121 or (65) 6222 2121 when calling from overseas
- Press 1 for English
- Press 1 for chat services and phone banking
- Press 2 for fee waiver and application status
- Press 1 for credit card fee waiver
- Press 1 for membership fee waiver
- Enter your credit card number, followed by the # key
- Enter your 8 digits mobile phone number, followed by the # key if requested
- Your UOB credit card membership and annual fee waiver will be submitted and processed. You will be updated with an SMS once it is successfully processed.
Online Chat
Alternatively, UOB credit card holders may also apply for annual fee waiver online through UOB Chat Assist by following the steps below:
- Visit https://www.uob.com.sg/personal/chat.page
- Click on the chat icon at the bottom right of the screen
- Enter security check code
- Select ‘Fee Waiver’
- Select ‘Credit Card’
- Select ‘Membership Fee’
- Enter your credit card number
- Enter the OTP sent to your mobile phone number
- Your UOB credit card membership and annual fee waiver will be submitted and processed. You will be updated with an SMS once it is successfully processed.
UOB TMRW Mobile App
If you are already using UOB TMRW mobile app for your banking transactions, you may also request for annual fee waiver through the app. Simply follow these steps:
- Login to UOB TMRW mobile app
- Tap on ‘Accounts’ menu item at the bottom of the screen
- Select and tap on the card to request for annual fee waiver
- Tap on ‘Services’
- Select ‘Waive fees’
- Select ‘Annual fee’
- Tap ‘Next’
- Review the details and slide the ‘Confirm’ slider to submit your request
What if your UOB annual fee / membership fee waiver request got rejected?
It is not uncommon for your annual fee waiver request to get rejected even when you have been using the credit card for payments frequently.
If this happens, you can chat with UOB’s live-chat service representative via the UOB Chat Assist.
- Visit https://www.uob.com.sg/personal/chat.page
- Click on the chat icon at the bottom right of the screen
- Enter security check code
- Select ‘Chat with us’
- You will be required to enter either your NRIC or card number, and a OTP sent to your mobile phone number
- Inform the representative that your annual fee waiver got rejected and would like to request for fee waiver
