The Climate Voucher is an initiative under the Climate Friendly Households Programme by NEA and PUB to encourage households to to adopt climate-friendly measures aimed at improving their energy and water usage efficiency.
Under this programme, every HDB household will get $300 in Climate Vouchers for purchase of energy efficient and water efficient products. The vouchers will expire on 31 December 2027 and come in the following denominations:
- 3 x S$50
- 12 x S$10
- 4 x S$5
- 5 x S$2
How to claim and spend the Climate Voucher?
Follow the steps below to claim your Climate Voucher. Both Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents with registered addresses at HDB are eligible to claim the Climate Vouchers on behalf of the household.
- Visit this RedeemSG redeem link
- Click on ‘Climate Vouchers’
- Login with SingPass
- Verify your information and enter your phone number
- Next, you will receive a SMS sent from RedeemSG with the link to your Climate Vouchers.
- Visit any of the participating retailers and present the vouchers when making payment. The vouchers cannot be used for online purchases.
- You may be asked to produce an identification document such as NRIC or utilities bill to verify that your residential address matches the voucher’s address.
Which products are eligible for the Climate Vouchers?
Only the following eco-friendly products can be purchased with the Climate Vouchers. Electrical and home appliances such as portable aircon, microwave, oven, kettle are not eligible.
- Refrigerators with 3 ticks and above on Energy Efficiency Rating
- Air-conditioners with 5 ticks on Energy Efficiency Rating
- Washing machines with 4 ticks on Water Efficiency Rating
- LED lights with 2 ticks and above on Energy Efficiency Rating
- Direct Current (DC) fans (include stand fans, ceiling fans, and table fans with DC motors and without non-LED lights)
- Heat pump water heaters (exclude instantaneous and storage water heaters)
- Water closets with 3 ticks on Water Efficiency Rating
- Sink/ bib taps and mixers with 3 ticks on Water Efficiency Rating
- Basin taps and mixers with 3 ticks on Water Efficiency Rating
- Shower fittings with 3 ticks on Water Efficiency Rating
