Singapore National Day Food Festival
To celebrate Singapore’s National Day, a large-scale pasar malam (night market) will transform the area beside the iconic Marina Bay Sands (MBS) into two weeks of food, fun, and festivities.
This night market will serve up a tantalising spread of local delights, international cuisines, and creative fusion dishes and snacks. Embracing the nostalgic charm of traditional pasar malam, the event also features Uncle Ringo’s classic amusement rides and carnival games, , making it an ideal outing for families and fun-seekers of all ages.

Beside this food festival, a smaller-scale food pasar malam (Street Eats Under the Stars Night Market) is also happening from 6 – 10 August 2025 (Wednesday – Sunday) in the evening at the Singapore Flyer, approximately 2km away.
If you’re in the area and looking for more food options, consider taking a leisurely walk to the fair. Along the way, you’ll cross the scenic Helix Bridge and have a great opportunity to snap photos with the iconic Singapore Flyer in the background.
SG60 Homecoming Concert

Changi Airport will commemorate Singapore’s 60th birthday (SG60) with a free concert on 1 August 2025, held at the iconic Rain Vortex in Jewel, renowned as the world’s tallest indoor waterfall.
Headlining the show are Singaporean superstars Stefanie Sun Yanzi 孙燕姿 and Kit Chan 陈洁仪, joined by a talented line-up of local artistes including Sezairi Sezali, Regina Song, The Freshman, and SuperSonic.
Although admission is free, tickets are required for entry to the main concert area at the Rain Vortex. If you didn’t manage to snag a ticket, you’re still welcome to come by and enjoy the music from nearby.

West Coast Rocks!
Be part of the first National Day fireworks display in the heartlands on 2 August 2025 at Clementi Stadium!
Organised by the West Coast Community Club, this special event gives residents and Westies the opportunity to kick off the SG60 celebrations alongside fellow Singaporeans.
Event highlights include exciting carnival games, live stage performances, and a spectacular fireworks display to end the evening on a high note. All ticket holders will also receive a complimentary goodie bag and snacks.

SAFRA Bayfront National Day Celebration

Organised by SAFRA, this special event invites SAFRA members, Singapore citizens and permanent residents to join in the National Day celebrations at the open space right beside Marina Bay Sands (MBS).
Held in conjunction with the final National Day Parade (NDP) Preview and the actual NDP, the ticketed event takes place on 2 & 9 August 2025. Attendees can look forward to a live telecast of the NDP on large LED screens, alongside real-time views of the state flag flypast and the spectacular fireworks finale on both dates. Guests will also enjoy live performances and receive a complimentary NDP fun pack.
Those without tickets may not be able to access SAFRA-exclusive activities and performances, but they can still soak in the National Day spirit at a publicly accessible Food & Fun Fair held at the same location. Visitors can indulge in tasty treats, enjoy kiddy rides and carnival games, and take in the live state flag flypast and stunning fireworks from the spacious promenade overlooking Marina Bay.

Istana Open House (National Day 2025)
The Istana, the official residence and office of the President of Singapore, will open its doors to the public on the Sunday before National Day to celebrate Singapore’s 60th birthday.
In addition to exploring the beautiful Istana grounds, visitors can join a guided tour to gain deeper insight into the site’s rich history and significance. A full day of activities awaits, including art workshops, sports try-outs, and an exciting lineup of contemporary and cultural performances.

Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert

Back for its 7th edition, the annual Mediacorp National Day Concert will be held on 3 August 2025 (Sunday), ahead of National Day, at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay.
This year’s concert promises an electrifying lineup, featuring over 20 Singaporean artists and groups representing the nation’s rich tapestry of ethnicities and languages. Headliners include Hady Mirza, Kit Chan 陈洁仪, Taufik Batisah, Yung Raja, Charlie Lim, and Leelian Chua 蔡礼莲.
A key highlight of the evening will be the debut of the official concert theme song, “Ties That Bloom”, composed and performed by Singapore Idol 2006 winner, Hady Mirza.
Beyond the concert itself, visitors can enjoy a variety of fringe activities from the afternoon, including a Singaporean food fair, nostalgic childhood games, and craft workshops. The night will close with a spectacular fireworks display, lighting up the skies for a perfect finale.

Jalan Kayu & Fernvale National Day Celebration
In the weeks leading up to Singapore’s 60th National Day, the People’s Association (PA) and Community Clubs (CCs) across the island are organising a series of community celebrations. These events are designed to foster community spirit by bringing residents together to enjoy lively musical performances, interactive games, a variety of delicious local dishes, and a festive atmosphere. Together, they honour the nation’s remarkable 60-year journey and celebrate this significant milestone in Singapore’s history.
A key feature that distinguishes the Jalan Kayu and Fernvale National Day Celebration from other community festivities is its annual fireworks display, organised by Fernvale Community Club on the eve of National Day. Held ahead of the main National Day Parade (NDP) and the five Heartland fireworks displays taking place the following two days, this event offers residents of Sengkang a unique opportunity to experience a spectacular fireworks show right in their own neighbourhood.
After the dazzling fireworks display, residents may choose to continue their celebrations by visiting the 24-hour eateries located along Jalan Kayu. These dining establishments offer a range of late-night delights, such as crispy and buttery roti prata, as well as smooth and silky beancurd. Enjoying these local favourites is a perfect way to conclude a truly memorable evening.

Celebrate Singapore’s 60th Jubilee by diving into its history and culture.
Beyond exploring the Singapore History Gallery at the National Museum of Singapore (NMS) to learn more about the nation’s past on this special day, visitors can enjoy a wide range of family-friendly activities. Highlights include a LEGO showcase of Singapore, a children’s colouring competition, storytelling sessions on Singapore’s history, various hands-on arts and crafts workshops, and exciting percussion performances. NDP Celebrations @ Marina Barrage
Organised by the Sustainable Singapore Gallery at Marina Barrage, this National Day celebratory event offers a full day of family-friendly activities centered around sustainability.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of engaging experiences, including an eco-conscious marketplace, hands-on upcycling workshops, a film screening on ocean plastic pollution, and sustainability-themed games for all ages.
In the evening, head up to the Green Roof to catch a live screening of the National Day Parade (NDP), starting at 5pm. Bring along your picnic mats, snacks, and drinks, and unwind as you enjoy the sunset, sea breeze, and festive spirit in the heart of Marina Bay.
To top it all off, the event offers prime views of the spectacular Marina Bay fireworks, marking the grand finale of the NDP celebrations.

While the NDP showcases Singapore’s military capabilities, much like national parades around the world, it also celebrates the nation’s unique spirit with a festive, carnival-like atmosphere. People of all ages and backgrounds come together to perform, celebrate and reflect on Singapore’s remarkable journey.
Crowd favourites include thrilling aerial flypasts, the daring Red Lions parachute display, and the spectacular fireworks finale, a cherished tradition that has lit up the skies since the nation’s early years.
Tickets for the NDP and its previews are in high demand each year, with Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents required to enter a ballot to obtain them.
If you’re unable to secure tickets to attend the parade in person but still want to experience the festive atmosphere, you can catch the live telecast at a free event held at Singapore Sports Hub and National Museum on National Day. Alternatively, extended celebrations will take place in the heartlands the following day, offering more opportunities to join in the festivities.

Majulah Fiesta at Singapore Sports Hub
The Singapore Sports Hub will host a live telecast of the National Day Parade (NDP) on 9 August, inviting everyone to come together and celebrate. As a special highlight, Chinook helicopters will perform a state flag flypast over the area at approximately 6:50pm.
Bring your favourite food and enjoy a picnic with friends and family on the open grounds outside the Sports Hub in Kallang, all while watching the live NDP 2025 broadcast on the big screen.
The festivities kick off from 1pm with live music performances by talented artists and groups, including Dominic Chin, Gail Belmonte, Khim Ng, RINES, Aaron Bunac, Iman Fandi, The Island Voices, and more!
The evening will culminate in a spectacular live fireworks display, lighting up the skies around the Sports Hub to close the celebration in style.

NDP Heartland Celebrations
Following a successful run last year, this year’s National Day Parade (NDP) celebrations will once again be extended with an extra day of festivities on 10 August 2025 (Sunday). The celebrations will be held across five locations islandwide: Bishan, Bukit Gombak, Geylang Serai, Punggol and Yishun.
A key highlight of the extended celebration is the mobile column, featuring vehicle assets from the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Singapore Police Force (SPF), and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF). These vehicles will travel from the main NDP venue to the five heartland locations, giving residents a rare opportunity to see them up close.
Each venue will come alive with carnival games, family-friendly activities, exhibitions, and exciting live performances. A special highlight at the Bishan venue will be a parachute jump and landing by the SAF Red Lions.
The celebrations will wrap up with a spectacular fireworks display at all five locations, lighting up the night sky in a dazzling finale.
While admission is free, tickets are required to attend these events and can be collected from Community Centres (CCs) starting 8 July 2025 (Tuesday). Those without tickets can still enjoy the fireworks from nearby areas and soak in the festive atmosphere.

SSO National Day Concert
The 8th edition of the annual National Day Concert by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) returns on 16 August 2025 at the Esplanade Concert Hall.
Commemorating Singapore’s 60th birthday, this concert presents a heartfelt musical tribute to the nation, featuring works by distinguished homegrown composers and talented local musicians. Highlights include captivating performances by renowned saxophonist Lin Chien-Kwan and violinist Jonathan Ong, as well as a special collaboration between voices and orchestra on iconic songs by acclaimed producers Charlie Lim and Dick Lee.
