Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 (晚晴园庆中秋2024), the annual Moon Festival celebration at the historic Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, will take place from 20 August – 15 September 2024.
This year’s theme, “Moonlit Legends”, features larger-than-life traditional lanterns depicting beloved Mid-Autumn Festival characters. The festival’s highlight will be on 14 & 15 September, with a host of exciting activities as we celebrate in grand style before the memorial hall temporarily closes for restoration.
Join in the celebration for a weekend of family-friendly fun, including both ticketed and free events. Enjoy workshops on wooden stick figure painting, mooncake making and tuanshan han fan crafting. Engage in storytelling sessions, lantern decoration and lantern riddle guessing.

- Notes: Under normal circumstances, non-Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents are required to pay admission fees. However, during this period, both entry and guided tours are free for everyone. The gallery will also extend its hours until 8:30pm on 24 August, 31 August, 7 September, 14 September and 15 September 2024.
