Mental Health Festival Asia 2021 is a two-day virtual conference that will be held on the 28 and 29 October 2021. This inaugural event will bring together an extensive speaking panel comprising mental health experts, celebrities, and leaders from the public and private sectors.
The conference, themed ‘Shifting the narrative of mental health in Asia’, aims to increase awareness and destigmatise mental health in the region. It will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions and interactive Q&A sessions from Rahayu Mahzam (Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Health, Singapore), David Chua (CEO, National Youth Council Singapore), Dr. Oliver Suendermann (Deputy Director of Clinical Psychology, National University of Singapore) as well as local celebrities like Jeanette Aw, Annette Lee and Gurmit Singh.
The conference will focus on a wide range of topics around two main areas, mental health for youth, education and the public on 28 October and mental health for workplaces on 29 October.
Registrations for the Mental Health Festival Asia 2021 are free and open to public.
Intellect was founded on the observation that millions of people across the globe go through different forms of everyday struggle, big and small, at home and at work – but most without easy ways to get mental wellbeing support the way they need it.
Along with our co-founder & CEO’s personal journey in mental health, we started Intellect with a mission to change how mental health is currently perceived and how mental healthcare is done.
We’re building an entirely new approach to mental healthcare that is preventative, instant, and made truly for everyone. Our goal is to be able to support anyone in their lives, no matter how big or small their challenge may seem.
