Hougang Countdown Party 2024 / 2025

Hougang Countdown Party 2024 / 2025, a New Year celebration for Aljunied GRC & Hougang SMC, will take place at the open field next to Hougang Mall on 31 December 2024.

Partygoers can savour popular Singaporean snacks at the pasar malam held alongside the event, while enjoying cultural performances by a Bharatanatyam dance troupe and contemporary acts featuring YES933 DJ Kun Hua 坤华, actresses Karyn Wong 黄诗敏 and Ya Hui 许雅慧, as well as singer Rahila Rashun.

There will also be a special video showcase featuring residents’ wishes for the new year, together with a community crane origami activity for everyone to participate in.

At the stroke of midnight, a stunning fireworks display will illuminate the sky over Hougang Central, welcoming 2025!
