River Hongbao 2025

River Hongbao 2025 (春到河畔 2025), a highlight of Chinese New Year (CNY) celebrations in Singapore, is set to return for 13 days from 27 January - 8 February 2025 at Gardens by the Bay (GBTB) to usher in the Year of the Snake. In keeping with tradition, visitors can take photos with the stunning God of Fortune statue at the SuperTree Observatory and marvel at the lunar new year lanterns, lights, and decorations, all themed around this year's zodiac sign, the Snake. The event will feature a variety of cultural performances, a Chinese culture and traditions exhibition, a food fair, and amusement rides, offering entertainment for all ages.

River Hongbao 2022

River Hongbao 2022 (春到河畔 2022) will be held at Gardens By the Bay for a second consecutive year from 30 January to 6 February 2022. Join the celebration with your family to usher in the Year of Tiger physically at the event or participate through various digital experiences lined up over the weeks leading up to the Chinese New Year season.

River Hongbao 2023 (春到河畔 2023), the annual Chinese New Year (CNY) celebrations along the Singapore River, will take place from 20 - 28 January 2023 at Gardens by the Bay (GBTB). Apart from taking photos with giant God of Fortune lantern, floating 'Dance of Spring' lantern set and various themes of lanterns in the shape of rabbits, a host of performances, activities, food fair, and amusement rides await all visitors throughout the 9-day event.

River Hongbao 2024 (春到河畔 2024), the annual Chinese New Year (CNY) celebrations in the Marina Bay area, will be held from 8 - 17 February 2024 at Gardens by the Bay (GBTB). Apart from taking photos with the giant God of Fortune statue, 140-metre long dragon lantern and various lunar new year lanterns, lightings and decorations, visitors can look forward to nightly stage performances, a local food fair, an exhibition on the history CNY markets in Singapore, and amusement rides at this 10-day CNY carnival.
