Race For Good 2024 (RFG 2024), The Salvation Army’s annual charity run dedicated to supporting the vulnerable, is set to return on 14 September 2024 at East Coast Park. This year’s event features three competitive race categories: 5km, 10km, and 21.5km, alongside a 5km non-competitive category. Additionally, participants who are unable to join in person can take part in an 89km virtual run, which can be completed between 20 May and 28 July 2024.
The registration fees and donations will contribute directly to supporting at-risk youths, frail elderly individuals, vulnerable migrant workers, and ex-offenders in Singapore. In 2023, the event raised over $230,000 in total. Beyond fundraising, Race for Good aims to foster social and environmental impact by strengthening resilient families, promoting volunteerism, and encouraging sustainable practices.
