2025 General Election Rally Schedule
Physical election rallies are set to return this year, having been suspended during the previous election due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year, political parties such as the People’s Action Party (PAP), Workers’ Party (WP), Progress Singapore Party (PSP), and Singapore Democratic Party (SDP), are expected to hold in-person speeches in heartland locations. These rallies serve as a platform for parties and candidates to engage with the public and rally support.
The GE2025 rallies will take place over an eight-day period, from 24 April 2025 (Thursday), the day after Nomination Day, to 1 May 2025 (Thursday).
Officially known as “Election Meetings”, these rallies are scheduled to take place in two time slots: 10:00am to 1:00pm or 7:00pm to 10:00pm, across various locations such as stadiums, primary schools, secondary schools, junior colleges, open fields, and hardcourts, depending on the venues selected by each political party.
Additionally, special “Lunch-time Election Meetings” will be held between 12:00pm and 3:00pm from 28 – 30 April 2025 (Monday – Wednesday) at Raffles Place and Marina Bay, specifically aimed at engaging office workers in the Central Business District (CBD).
