Yellow Ribbon Run 2026 (Singapore)

Yellow Ribbon Run 2026 (YRR 2026), the annual race championing the reintegration of ex-offenders into society, returns on 20 September 2026 at The Kallang (formerly Singapore Sports Hub) after a one-year hiatus.

Stepping beyond the prison grounds where the event was traditionally held, this year’s edition will take participants along the scenic Kallang River on the fringe of Singapore’s Central Business District (CBD), offering a refreshed race experience. By bringing the run into the heart of the community, the event reinforces the message of second chances and highlights the vital role that society plays in supporting successful reintegration.

As with the 2024 edition, participants can choose from two individual race categories: 10km and 5km. While there will be no standalone kids’ race this year, families can take part in the 888m Parent-Child Run, which encourages quality bonding time through a shared sporting experience.

The festivities continue beyond the finish line with a vivacious event village offering carnival games and interactive activities, a Yellow Ribbon Project pop-up store serving coffee and baked goods, an exhibition on rehabilitation and reintegration, and an art showcase featuring works by inmates.
