SAFRA Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon 2021

SAFRA Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon 2021 (SSBR & AHM 2021) will return as a virtual event this November. Jointly organised by SAFRA and the Singapore Army, the event aims to promote an active fitness culture and strengthen bonds among active servicemen, Operationally Ready National Servicemen (NSmen) and their families. This year, the event will feature new categories to encourage participants to go the extra distance to break a sweat.

Registration of the event will be made via our appointed service vendor, 42Race (42Technology Pte Ltd). You will be required to provide your personal data for an account creation with 42Race. Do note that you are responsible for the personal data that you provide or disseminate via 42Race, and your personal data shall be subject to the personal data policies of 42Race.

 

 

Race Categories

Categories	Requirements
21km Half Marathon	Runners will have to complete the full distance within a single attempt at any time during the 4-week virtual event period.
21km Cumulative Challenge	Runners who may not be able to complete 21km within a single attempt can participate in this category, which allows them to accumulate their distance from a series of shorter runs during the 4-week virtual event period to complete a total of 21km.
50km Cumulative Team Challenge	Only SAF NSmen (ORNS, MR & Ex-NSmen) can participate together as a team of up to 5 members. Each team members’ distance will be added up to contribute towards completing a total of 50km during the 4-week virtual event period.
Families for Life 10km Challenge	Only families can participate together as a team of up to 5 members. Each family members’ distance will be added up to contribute towards completing a total of 10km during the 4-week virtual event period.

Prices stated above inclusive of 7% GST.

*Only applicable to NSmen (Operationally Ready National Servicemen, MINDEF Reserves & Ex-NSmen) from the three arms of the Singapore Armed Forces – the Singapore Army, the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF).
+ SAF active servicemen, NSmen and SAFRA members who register for this category can add-on their immediate family members (parents, siblings, spouse and children) to form the team during registration and each of these immediate family members will also enjoy the special rate of only $5 per person.
