April 24 - May 3
Free
Pesta Pecah Panggung 2026, a Nusantara-themed food and retail fair, will take place at the Malay Heritage Centre in the historic enclave of Kampong Glam from 24 April – 3 May 2026.
Featuring over 50 vendors, this nine-day event, held in conjunction with the Centre’s reopening following restoration, invites both locals and tourists to indulge in a rich variety of offerings, from traditional Malay dishes and snacks to modern fusion treats, while browsing handmade accessories, bags, apparel and fashion pieces.
On selected evenings, the event comes alive with cultural performances and activities, including live DJ sets, dikir barat (a traditional Malay musical performance), storytelling sessions inspired by Nusantara folklore, and interactive games such as congkak (a Mancala-style game) and lompat getah (zero point) for children.
Bring your family and enjoy an evening immersed in culture, community and heritage.
