Ngee Ann City National Lion Dance Championships 2025 (Singapore)

Ngee Ann City National Lion Dance Championships 2025 (義安城全国舞狮锦标赛2025), presenting the semifinals and finals of Singapore’s premier annual lion dance competition, makes its return to the outdoor event space at Ngee Ann City on Orchard Road, from 8 – 13 September 2025.

Now in its 29th edition, the championship proudly showcases both Northern and Southern lion dance styles, with numerous troupes competing for top honours across three main categories: Traditional Southern, Freestyle High-Poles Southern, and Freestyle Northern.

To promote inclusivity and nurture young talent, the Traditional Southern category will also feature sub-categories specifically for female participants, teenagers, and children under 13. The public is warmly invited to watch the competition, with free admission for all!
