Hougang Countdown Party 2024 / 2025

Hougang Countdown Party 2024 / 2025, a New Year celebration for Aljunied GRC & Hougang SMC, will take place at the open field next to Hougang Mall on 31 December 2024.

The festivities will feature an exciting lineup of cultural performances, including a mesmerising Bharatanatyam dance, along with contemporary acts by YES933 DJ Kun Hua 坤华, actresses Karyn Wong 黄诗敏 and Ya Hui 许雅慧 and the talented singer Rahila Rashun. Partygoers can indulge in beloved Singaporean snacks, while kids enjoy thrilling amusement rides at the lively pasar malam, conveniently located alongside the event.

In addition, a special video showcase will highlight residents’ heartfelt wishes for the New Year, complemented by a fun community crane origami activity that invites everyone to participate.

At the stroke of midnight, a stunning fireworks display will illuminate the sky over Hougang Central, welcoming 2025!
