Geylang Serai Hari Raya Celebrations 2026 (Singapore)

Geylang Serai Hari Raya Celebrations 2026 (Kita Raya Bersama), the annual festivities in Singapore’s historic Malay district, returns from 14 February 2026 until Hari Raya Puasa (Aidilfitri/Eid al-Fitr) on 21 March 2026 at Wisma Geylang Serai.

Locals and tourists alike are invited to immerse in the dazzling Hari Raya decorations and twinkling lights that line the streets around the community centre, soaking in the festive Ramadan atmosphere. Visitors can also create cherished memories with family and friends at the bustling Ramadan bazaar, where they can shop, dine, and, for Muslims, break fast together.

The celebrations will feature an exciting lineup of performances by local and regional artistes, including Siti Nordiana, Tomok, Ernie Zakri, Hael Husaini, Dayang Nurfaizah, Ara Johari, Hady Mirza, Sezairi Sezali, and many more.

Over the course of a month, the event celebrates culture, joy and togetherness, capturing the true spirit of Hari Raya at Geylang Serai.

 

 

 

 

Programme / Activity Schedule

• 14 February 2026 (Saturday)
  • (8:00pm – 9:30pm) The Geylang Serai Hari Raya Light-up Ceremony 2026 (Penyalaan Lampu Hari Raya 2026) will be officiated by Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong and Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Faishal Ibrahim. The evening promises an exciting showcase of cultural and musical performances celebrating the spirit of Hari Raya. Audiences can look forward to performances by celebrated Malay artistes and groups, including newly crowned Gegar Vaganza winner Singaporean Eiss (Iskandar Ismail), as well as renowned artistes Elfee R Ismail, Nana Karia, Jaclyn Victor, and more.

  • (7:00pm – 12:00am) The Hari Raya decorations and lights will be illuminated nightly throughout the festive period, with extended hours until 2:00am on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 6:00am on 21 March 2026 (Saturday).

  • (10:00am – 11:59pm) Bazaar Raya Geylang Serai 2026. The event is extended to 6:00am on 21 March 2026 (Saturday).
