Gardens by the Bay Mid-Autumn Festival 2026

Gardens by the Bay Mid-Autumn Festival 2026 (滨海花园庆中秋2026), the annual Chinese lantern festival at the iconic gardens in Marina Bay, returns for 16 evenings from 12 – 27 September 2026.

This year’s lantern installations feature Fenbao and Friends, a whimsical cast of cartoon characters created by local artist Lau Sau Hoong. The characters will take centre stage across several lantern displays throughout the gardens. Visitors can explore the illuminated installations, snap photos as keepsakes and admire the intricate lanterns, a cherished symbol of Chinese culture and the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Like the previous edition, the festival offers a diverse line-up of activities for visitors of all ages. Highlights this year include LED lion dances, traditional dragon dances, craft workshops, a street food fair and exciting carnival games and rides. Held alongside the festivities is the Singapore Big Flag Championship 新加坡大旗竞技赛, adding another lively highlight to this family-friendly celebration.
